Default Bluetooth not pairing with PC...

I have two issues. The main problem I have is Bluetooth is not pairing with my computer. I remember it working when I first got the phone but now it just quit wanting to pair.

I get this error when I try to pair bluetooth from the phone:

"There was a problem pairing with [Name of my computer] because the PIN or Passkey is incorrect"

My phone does not have settings related to a PIN or passkey for bluetooth. Nor do I know of any for my computer.

If I try to pair from my computer I get this error:

Any ideas on what's going on? I have Android 2.3.6 (with Kouma Kernel 2.2 and EJ06 baseband (spoofed to read as FA19 thanks to HalfAssedRom).

The other issue I have (this one has been a problem since day one), I want to place an autorun.inf at the root of my sd card to give it an android logo when it shows up in "My Computer" on Windows 7.

However every time I unplug the phone and Android mounts the SD card, it seems to be deleting the file. (I even tried setting it to read only) So that when I plug it in again, the autorun.inf is already gone and thus no icon.

Is "Media Scanner" the system app responsible for doing this? Is it safe to uninstall the "media scanner" that runs every time the SD card is remounted or is that app needed for Android to read the SD card properly (the FAT partition anyway. Don't think it's needed for the EXT partitions)?

Or is there another cause to the autorun file mysteriously meeting an untimely death?

but since your already ast halfway there ill tell you what you need to know.

1) your first connection probably failed.
meaning you either didnt connect them right or wrong code.

2) you might of changed your ROM recently. that affects connectivity,

and
3) old connection still exists even if you failed to do it on time, got the wrong code, or changed rom.

Solution:
uninstall your bluetooth program/drives. and the hardware.
and then reinstall all of it and attempt to connect again this should work.
just get the pairing code right the next time it pops up.
