so the thing is i accidentally done the wrong battery calibration and etc. so what i did was just i let the battery drain til it turned off and then charged it to 100% and i deleted the battery bin thingy again (i didnt calibrate it anymore) and now my battery sends wrong readings in my notification bar and the battery widget when hits 40% below.. I have to check the Status in the Settings area.

I did not calibrate before I rooted my Desire HD, but have done since.
This is the advice I was given:
Firstly, download Current Widget - this allows you to see when your battery is no longer drawing power from the charger and then download Battery Calibration (obviously to sort the battery stats).
Have the phone on charge until current widget shows that there is 0mA showing (as in no more power being drawn by the battery) and then use battery calibration to reset stats. Unplug and run the phone down (I do it until the phone actually turns itself off)... from there, you should be good to go... battery shold be calibrated.
I was also told that, each time you flash a new ROM, it's best to re-calibrate the battery.
By the way... I'm not trying to teach my granny to suck eggs, I just thought I'd give you the same advice I was given, in the hope that it helps you out!

I have used it... yes - it resets the battery stats, so your phone knows when it's fully charged.
I'd do as I have said in my post above and also download current widget, as this will let you know when your battery is no longer drawing charge... you would be surprised at how long after your phone tells you that it is fully charged that it still draws power for!

Good to know that it sounds like it's done some good. I felt the same, that the battery life had improved, but then I've seen this in the Desire HD device forum...
In a nutshell, battery calibration does not do anything and is not needed. The battery stats are reset each time you unplug from a charge, or almost full. And I swear I could notice a difference, but I guess there was a placebo effect going on there!
So, who knows whether or not it actually does anything.

Was just passing on the info I'd seen in my device sub-forum... like I said, who knows if it makes any difference. I'm gonna stop calibrating each time I flash a new ROM and see if I notice any detrimental effect!

I know, you are just the messenger.........but I just can't believe it.
I swear, I would go to work around 2pm with 100% battery, and come home at about 10pm with about 30-40%.
At work, I would use Kakao talk a little bit, and the dictionary. That is it!
Today, I went to work at 2pm with about 90% battery and now (almost 11pm) with 65%......still draining faster than I think it should, seeing how I hardly use the phone at work.....but thats a 30-40% turn around.
Question though, I know that wifi uses the battery more, but when I am at work and at home, isnt it better to use the wifi?
I am on a data plan, but dont usually come close to the 500MB limit.
I want to limit the connectivity, but I also communicate mostly through instant messaging, so I need to be connected to something.....I dont know what to do

I leave WIFI on ALL the time, unless I know I'm going to be out of WIFI reception for a long time. I connect to WIFI @ home and @ work... only tend to turn it off when I go out on a night out and I've never really had an issue with my battery.
Hope this helps you decide what to do!

I wasnt before, that is why I did the Battery Calibration.
Made sure it was charged to 100% (even though it would drop right down to 94% after) and made sure it stayed at 100% when I unplugged it.
Then ran the app.......all is good now.
