Angry Need help rooting
Hi
Im trying to root my galaxy s but I have no luck ive tried uain gingerbreak(takes for ever.and nothing happens) and ive used odin but still no luck
My version is 2.3.6
I need a app that roots :/

bte I still have my warranty if rooted and unrooted will my warranty be fine?

Your warranty is void once you root your phone..

I've got a Galaxy S, can't see the game anywhere on the phone or SD card. I've followed the youtube video to root. The menu comes up but when I try to update my phone I get an error "E:signature verification failed". Can I confirm that I boot up my phone, when I get the menu I pick "apply update from sd card" Do I then choose update.zip? Please help.

What exactly are you trying to do? Install a custom Rom?
If this is the case you must download a custom Rom and copy it in the root of your sd card. Then you must choose "install from sd card".

I found this tool on Youtube yesterday after numerous attempts and fails with various methods..



First attempt failed...so ran the tool again and it rebooted with Superuser and root permissions.

Meant to work with any gingerbread device.
