I just got Samsung galaxy S - I9000
I know little bit of rooting and flashing not much so would really appreciate your help.

I have rooted the phone and nothing else.
It has following-
checking on *#1234# it gives -

pda - I9000ADJP6
ph - I9000ADJP3
csc - I9000O2UJP3

checking on settings > About phone>>

firmware - 2.2
baseband - I9000ADJP3
build no - FROYO.ADJP6

What to do from here?

To my understanding,
1) backup efs
2) flash CWM or anyother recovery?
3) using Odin with other files install new ROM?

Am I missing anything? as this is used phone I got from someone and there is no warranty on it so cant return in case if its bricked.

Please advise me whatever is helpful... and the a link would be extremely good..
