When I first installed this rom, everything was working fine, but after a day or so I was getting FC's on the camera, saying 'Gallery has stopped'. In case anyone else runs into this, I found a fix on XDA that got it working again:

Re: [ROM][4.2.1][JOP40G][02/11/13] CM10.1 for SPH-D710VMUB
Well I've been loving this phone and this ROM for the past couple of days but my battery life is horrible... I can literally stare at it and watch it slowly drain right before my eyes...I try using known battery saving techniques witch do help but when I start browsing the web or using it in anyway the battery doesn't hold up..
I leave it charging overnight and it never gets to 100%. It gets to 99% sometimes 98%...
I hate my sucky battery life so today I ordered a qcell extended battery from Amazon. It had positive reviews compared to the other batteries so I hope its worth it...

Let us know how the battery goes! What are your case options now since you have the bulky extended battery?
I had all data and wifi off all day basically and by 6PM I was at 40%, which is pretty good based on previous usage with this ROM. I'm using a super minimal setup right now too.

I will post my results here after a couple days of use. As far as cases go I'm not sure..I haven't received the s line case I ordered but I think I might just cut a square out of the back where the bulge is... we'll see

I have the clear cimo s line case and its great.
I charged to 100% and calibrated my battery with the app posted last night around 10:00PM. It was unplugged all night with radios off. Light use and Wifi this morning. About to leave for work at 8:48 and im at 67%. Be sure to post pics if you cut up the case, if it looks good I might have to do it too!
btw, I'm running BetteryBatteryStats if anyone can help me understand those stats and get some more juice. How can you turn off the motion sensing and other silly things that drain battery?
Also, SD card storage sucks on this ROM, and music playback is choppy. When transferring files to the SD card through plugging the phone in, it freezes it or causes a restart.
Do the devs of this ROM watch this thread, or is there another way to submit bugs and issues to them?

Really wanted to use this rom, coming over from the leaked Fl14. I went back to stock rooted, then installed a version of cwm recovery, installed the rom and the fl26 modem and it booted fine. So then i turn it off, open odin3 on computer, pop the kuban kernel 0.2.5 in the pda slot and send to the phone through download mode. success. on boot it gets to GS2 splash with yellow triangle and then black, no sound, no picture, no boot into rom after letting it sit for a couple minutes. I need help =/ never have been able to get the kuban kernel to work.
EDIT:
Got it to flash from original fj12. WOOOOOO! =]

I am sure he is busy. Going from the 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 code base along with all the new fixes takes time. But still I am anxiously awaiting the update to see if it fixes my Bluetooth issues.
Re: [ROM][4.2.1][JOP40G][02/11/13] CM10.1 for SPH-D710VMUB
Man I don't know why, but sometimes my phone gets pretty hot to the touch. If I shut off data (3G) or turn on airplane mode, it cools down after a couple minutes. But when it gets hot, the battery drains real fast. Today I was getting ready to leave and I noticed it was really hot and it rebooted by itself.

Re: [ROM][4.2.1][JOP40G][02/11/13] CM10.1 for SPH-D710VMUB
I use MX Player. I haven't noticed any issues at all with it. My phone doesn't even get hot while playing videos with it. I think something data related is causing my heat/battery issues.

For what its worth I'm using the FJ12 modem and I have never experienced any of the issues you guys speak of. Maybe I just lucked out. My phone never gets the slightest bit hot and I watch movies, videos, and listen to music everyday.

I'm one of many it seems that came from the optimus V. With that phone some seemed to preform better than others. I wonder if this phone is similar in that respect. Different people seem to have different issues. The only real issue for me was video playback.
It seems with all the upstream changes by dastin1015 and possibley CM10.1 upstream changes, the last 3 builds I have built have a serious issue where I guess the modem it not initializing. I believe it has to do with kernel changes made by dastin1015, but his builds for the Sprint phone still work with the older modems. It seems that somewhere I have messed something up. I am going to contact dastin and see if he has any insight with this issue. I know he was trying to update the kernel to the cm10.1 versious that recently had got the update to the latest s2 jellybean source from samsung, and I believe he did this in hopes to be able to use jellybean modems with cm10.1. But I assure you I will get it figured out so I can continue with updates on this ROM!

I've been having some weird camera/video issues with this. snapchat will freeze if I try taking a video with the back camera and trying to record a screencast with the Screencast app will give everything this blue tint. all is well with FJ12. any ideas?
Okay just to be sure and safe. I just wanted to make sure I did the right thing. so what is it that I have to do exactly to get this cm 10.1 to work I need to install a recovery before I install this right? can someone point me to an easy way? or can I just flash this straight to my virgin mobile device and flash gapps after that and a modem? do I use odin? or can I just put it on my sd card and load it from there? just want to get it right. since this is my only means of internet at the moment.
I used Odin to get cwm recovery on my phone first. I am not by my computer or I'd tell you which one. Then used cwm to wipe everything. I did a factory data reset then wiped delvek. Then use cwm recovery to flash the ROM, gapps and one of the modems that are posted by B_RANDON then reboot. If you can wait until later tonight I'll check what file I used Odin to get cwm on my phone and add it here.

Here is the recovery I used to flash this rom. 41g-RC2.5-0718.exe Index of /Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S2 (Sprint) (SPH-D710)/Kernels/Recovery Kernels/ICS CM9/Chris41g AOSP CWM6 Recovery/One-Click
I just ran through to make sure it would work the way I remembered. I ran the one click and my phone rebooted then stopped after the first screen. I pulled the battery and rebooted into recovery with volume up and the power button. Then I flashed the later cm10.1 zip on the first page of this thread and it booted up fine. Because I was flashing the same rom I was on before I didn't need to wipe anything or flash the gappps and modem.
Check out the guide TheBritton made in the stickies. Sums everything up there for people just getting started and has links to all of the files you need.
Re: [ROM][4.2.1][JOP40G][02/11/13] CM10.1 for SPH-D710VMUB
If you are on FL14 you'll either want to flash FJ12 One Click and then the Agats repack kernel with recovery
Or:
Flash the FL14 repack kernel and then flash the FJ12 or FL26 modem
Instructions and download files are in the stickied guide.
If you are on FJ12 or FL26 you will want to flash the Agats repack kernel with recovery for whichever build you are on and then use that recovery to flash CM10.
I will clarify that in the guide tomorrow.
Basically you want to end up with a custom recovery with the FJ12 or FL26 modem before you are ready to flash CM10 which there are several ways to go about that depending on what build you are currently on.

Found this mod on xda for jellybean devices.. Our phone is compatible if anyone is interested. I'm using it as we speak. There is a considerable amount off speed boost for me. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2158329
Edit: read directions. I'm not responsible for your phone blowing up

I installed both the all in one and the under volt tweak but it caused random lock ups and reboots. Not sure which of them caused it but I'm assuming it was the under volt. You dare to test it out on yours? ;D

I'm not undervolting.. it clearly states its experimental and some phone cpu's cannot handle it.. random reboots do occur. And for that reason I did not install that.

Well the first version says stable haha
Yeah I would love for undevolting to work. I used to have the extended battery for the Optimus V and omg it would last like two days! With this phone, I also have an extended battery but only lasts like 20hrs still.. :/

Also that wasn't the thread I linked.. I linked nos injection version 0.1.0. And that would be the only mod I tested..sorry for confusion.

hey thanks a lot I had it nearly installed and ready to go. to my amazement just as it was starting up it said unfortunately gaps.com blah something wizard would not start. IM pretty sure I had the right version.... Where is a link to the core,t version. Or is it something I did wrong/ not doing?
I flashed this ROM and really dig it. I was just wondering if there was a jellybean ROM anywhere that still has the touchwiz interface. I kind of like it and would like to try it out. TIA.

FL14 is leaked stock touchwhiz based. There are a few minor bugs but a good ROM

Ugh...looks interesting but I'm not sure I could get it installed without screwing something up. For this ROM I just used Mobile Odin to install custom recovery, then flashed the ROM. Reading the instructions on that one was like reading Chinese to me. I noticed that the download was something like 430mb, so I figured something was different about it. I guess I will stick with this one for a while.

The FL14 stock is available in a one click flavor. Download file, boot into download mode and connect usb, click "start".
