Hello and welcome to Android Forums iPr0Hacker!

Rooting for the, "T", variant is identical to the non, "T", variant. They both have the same kernels and are identical phones in every respect except for the modems, which has nothing to do with rooting.

For a step-by-step guide, with videos, to rooting for the beginner, see:-

Rooting Galaxy S2 - Dummies Guide

in the All Things Root section of the Forum.

Did you wipe the cache partition and dalvik cache that the guide recommends?

There are 2 LPB, CF-Root kernels. Have you tried flashing the other version?

Failing that, you could try this LPH kernel which may do the trick.

Hi, I had the same problem which stumped me as well. I found the answer on a different thread; just use the kernel that is the 'next one up', which in this case is LPD. Works perfectly

You can flash any GT-i9100 firmware, including Jelly Bean, to the GT-i9100T variant so long as you then flash a, "T", modem afterwards if your network requires the, "T", modem. For details of flashing, "T", modems, see the, "Modems - Dummies Guide".

Samsung has rolled out a firmware update for the international Galaxy S2 I9100; ZSLSE Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware for users. The firmware update brings bug fixes to the handset. While this update is available via KIES and it is recommended that you get it from there.
