Default Installing one custom ROM over another

Hello once again. Thanks to your guide I successfully rooted my S2. I also installed Resurrection Remix JB 4.2.1 ROM, but I'm not too pleased with it.

I would like to try NeatROM Lite instead.

My question is: can I just install NeatRom Lite like I did Resurrection Remix, or are there any additional steps now that I already have one custom ROM installed.

If there are, would you kindly point me to a relevant guide as I was unable to find one myself.

Thanks in advance.

Installation is just the same, do a full wipe though prior to installation through cwm :-)

I know I'm risking to sound dumb, but how does one perform a full wipe? :/

There are options to clear cache and another wipe which may be factory reset, can't actually remember the correct name for it! Lol it's available on the first set of options as you boot into cwm!

The process I always perform before flashing a new rom, especially with a new kernel, is to boot into recovery, perform a nandroid backup and copy it off the device. Then boot back into recovery and perform a factory reset, wipe the cache and wipe the Dalvik cache. Then flash the rom file.

One more question:

is there an elegant way to get rid of files and folders left over from before rooting and flashing a custom ROM on my internal and external storage? I am referring to apps I'm no longer using.

Best way I found was doing a format in mounts and storage..... do the external sd card first, then put the room you want to use on the card before doing the internal one. Though make sure you can Def install from the external card, that was the mistake I made and ended up having to flash a stock Rom through Odin! Lol
