The main reason I rooted was to fix an annoying clipboard bug that causes every app to crash upon copying to the clipboard, and I couldn't paste anything either. It was either root or do a factory reset.

This bug also occurs on the Galaxy S3. Galaxy S3 crashing when copying text to clipboard

Another reason is to be able to use NTP with a Wi-Fi-only model, so that the clock is always right automatically.

Confused
I rooted to use apps that remove Ads(VERY ANNOYING!), hack games(VERY COOL!) and especially for flashing new roms(VERY AWESOME!)

BTW this thread should BUMPed to the Galaxy S III sub forum
