Hi all,

I am one of the many people who have opened their eyes and switched from IOS which I have been on since the start of their Iphone's, to Android.
I am totally loving Android as i feel they are far more advanced than anything else out there, I have the Galaxy SII and i love it.

Anyway I have just bought myself the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WIFI and was hoping for some help. As the storage is only 8GB on the device I have bought a 32GB SD card and was wondering if I root my device can i use my SD card as my default storage.

Any help on this matter would be great...

First off welcome to the forums!

Next, i have moved your thread into the Galaxy Tab 2 forums for better assistance.

Lastly, if you root your device you will be able to default all apps to the SD card regardless, unlike when you are not rooted and have an option only for some apps

I rooted my P3113 tab 7.0 by following the instructions on XDA. Once rooted, I was able to install a custom script to my data file which basically swaps your external sd card with your internal.

my tab now reads my 32GB micro sd as my primary
