Default Multimedia Dock

I just got this for my Tab but discovered that it won't charge it when connected to a PC, downside in my opinion. I was hoping this thing would charge it while cradled connected to a PC. So you still have to charge it using the A/C adapter. You can do all with just the cable it came with, without the cradle.

So your essentially paying $50 for an HDMI connection, in which you still need to buy the HDMI cable. Even though it looks nice sitting in the cradle on my desk, I think I may just return this.

The SGT does charge while plugged into the usb. Mine has never been plugged into a wall outlet.

Does the dock truly play in 1080p? I'm assuming the movie file has to be in hd format.

Only if there is no DRM on the file, otherwise HDMI output is disabled!
