Default Which of these cases is the best one?

I initially bought this case for my Galaxy Tab. It does work. It's not flashy, but it's kind of cheap. I can't complain though. For the $12 shipped I paid for it, I got about what I expected.

I'm now thinking of replacing it and am looking for a good case. I'd like one with a kickstand and one that has a hole in the back for the camera. It also needs to close and protect the screen as well when I'm not using it, but needs to fold out of the way somewhere when I am using it. Ideally, it'd have a place for me to store accessories as well (earbuds, USB cable, micro sd card, etc.......)

Can anyone recommend particular models? I see several on Amazon that have some of the features I want, but can't seem to find one that has all of them.

I just got this one from Amazon and I love it so far:

Amazon.com: Tuff-Luv Traditional Flip Style Leather Case Cover & Stand For Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 - British Racing Green: Electronics

It has some microSD card slots but no pocket for earbuds or anything. That keeps it more low-profile though. The kickstand is sturdy and secures to the back with magnets when you're not using it, so it doesn't flap around. The front of the case secures with a snap.

TuffLuv cases have a good reputation and I was shocked to find one priced this low. Aside from the lack of a pocket, it might work for you.

I'm not thrilled with the quality of the $12 case I bought before. I'm really eyeballing the rooCase, but I can't bring myself to drop $30 on it. I'm looking for something that is more protective for travelling, but still has easy access for everyday use.

I bought the Tuff-Luv case which protects well and can be used in landscape and portrait position. However, I found the Tab would no longer fit in my pockets and had to hand-carry it around which was not very convenient.

I also experienced discolouration of the white back of the Tab which may have been due to overheating or contamination from another case. Apparently, others have also experienced similar discolouration problems, but I was fortunate because my discolouration disappeared when left uncased.

So I decided not to use my Tab whilst encased in case it gets discoloured and bought a Lacoste messenger bag measuring 7.5"X5.5" which I just use for transportation. It fits perfectly and allows transport of the Tab without fear of it falling out of a pocket or being left somewhere accidentally.

When I occasionally want to watch a movie then I use the Tuff-Luv case but remove it afterwards for fear of discolouration and it is much easier to use the Tab when it is not encased.

Yoobao leather case wins it for me - especially the brown tan.

Looks good, protects well and smells fantastic

Lightbulb OEM Leather Display Folio

I got this one when I purchased my Tab.

SF Planet | OEM Verizon SAMTABFFCAS Leather Display Folio for Samsung Galaxy Tab

- It's sturdy and padded well
- Leather cleans up easy
- Holds the tab securely, but is easy to remove when needed
- Provides two angles of display in the propped-up position
- Includes a Back Camera Hole
- All ports, slots, memory are available when in the closed position with the exception of the mic

Additional use... When flipped open, I fold the lid backwards, and using soft elastic hair bands, I stretch it across the top to keep the tab/flap together, and using the formed leather clasp, I hang the unit on my dash in the landscape position so I can function on the go.

There are several hand apps that take advantage of the landscape format, from ToDo Lists, to Vehicle Expense Trackers.

Depends on what kind of case You want and need. I got my case which completely encloses it, something like the Otterbox. Includes a screen cover and protects the entire Tab 10.1 wifi, it was $45.00. Down side is you can't fit into the keyboard holder without removing the case. Check it out at Gumdrop.com, this was the only place I could find a good case to protect the Galaxy Tab from Me.
