Default Upgrade Tab T849 to Gingerbread?

I have a T-Mobile T849 Tab.

Is there a way to update to Gingerbread?
Kinda important cos of the problems with Bluetooth in 2.2.

First off...GREAT Forum everyone...good info , Hate to make my first post in this forum one that brings a thread back from the dead...noticed this thread was about a year old so I truly am sorry but I have been searching the forum and the net for info and links on doing the flash to the overcome custom rom but all links are dead I have found...

anyone have success lately in upgrading the t849 to a custom rom and has the working links still?

Make sure you read the whole thread before starting.
And ALWAYS make sure you have time to do it slowly.
Don't do it when you are in a hurry to go out or something.

Yes, I upgraded mine successfully (when I still owned this device). Follow the instructions posted above.
