Draw Something (Review)

We all know, or at least I'm going to assume we do, the addicting game that was brought to Facebook a while back. Can you guess it? (I know you read the title of this thread, just go along with it). Well? I'll give you a hint, it's a knock-off of pictionary with its own twist to it. It's "Draw Something".

Let me start off by saying that when I first tried this app on Facebook, I had little interest in it after the first night. To be honest, I have no clue why it all of a sudden interests me. I'll take a guess and say it's because I can use it on the go, and drawing is made easier with a touch screen. Yeah, we'll go with that.

The point of Draw Something is to find someone to play with, of course, choose something on a list of 3 given options to draw, draw the object as well as possible, have your opponent/teamate guess it by using the given letters scrambled all about.. These steps are repeated for whoever you're playing with.

The game features a mix of team effort and competition. You work together because doing so will allow you to gain coins for in game items like colors, and bombs(eliminate letters for you incase you're having trouble guessing what was drawn). Competitive in the sense that you're really just trying to do as best as you possibly can. You don't want to be known as the person that gets every single drawing wrong, do you? No, so you try to do as best you can.

Overall this application is a beauty, not talking graphic-wise, but it does deserve credit in that department for the nicely polished look. Only improvements I would like to see would be lower prices on in-game items. Collecting enough coins to make an in-game purchase without purchasing some coins with real money, takes forever. Not to mention, I paid $1 for the application, along with hundreds of thousands of others, the least they can do is give us some lower prices on in-game purchases.

You should def give this game a try!its brilliant,it's funny seeing how people draw things and how badly or well people can draw

At first, I really have fun with it. But I felt bored with it after I played it for several weeks.

OMGPOP deserves a lot of credit for this game, it's incredibly polished and reaches out to a huge audience.

This really fun to play but my friends rarely draw back. Why? I have a list of. about 15 people some of whom are random.

I use to play Draw Something until people stopped drawing back. Shame on them.
