Default Air Control (Ad): It has helped me in more ways than I can say.

Air Control. What a deceptively pleasant game. In a nut shell, you control various planes and helicopters "telling" them via your finger where to land and how to get there. The idea is to route the air traffic in a such a way that you avoid mid-air crashes. Do not view this great game as simplistic and skip it...you'll be missing out.

For me, as a former pilot and disabled Army vet, this game has gone so much farther than the creator intended. My disabilities prevent me from flying and I miss it so much. Flying for me was right up there with eating and breathing. This game is now my stress buster. When general stress or PTSD strikes, as it often does, I have learned to turn to this game as my therapy. I have not had a single attack since I discovered how it helps me and with my doctor's OK I've been able to stop some of the meds I was on.

I've found that by applying my knowledge of how real aircraft are handled, I can successfully land over 200 aircraft during a single, uninterrupted game. The game also has a fast-forward feature (recently updated so you can make the game start in fast mode) that adds several notches to the intensity factor. Sometimes I make it to 100+ landings before switching back to normal mode.

There are 3 types of airplanes that fly at different speeds. Helicopters are thrown into the mix as well. Coordinating the various speeds and aircraft types add to the complexity of the game and make it challenging even for the very frequent player. Then, of course, there are the moments when I miss that one jet speeding in and...crash. Luckily only a few electrons are left looking for a new atom and no lives are lost. ;)

Give it a try, it's free to use the ad supported version. I'd bet you'll come back to it often. My thanks to the creator and as cheesy as it my sound...you have made my life better with your fantastic game. It brings me back to a time when my life and career were together a very beautiful thing.

Hi, I'm the creator of Air Control. I am very happy to hear that you like our game, and I am quite astounded that it has helped you so much. It really makes my day, to know that we do some people some good out there.

Actually we have been contemplating, my partner and I, to increase the collision radius a bit on most of the planes, because it seems that the planes can overlap quite a lot before crashing. After reading your post, I'm quite sure that we won't do that anyway because it would cause too much anguish to our players, due to planes crashing far sooner than previously. My partners mother played a version with the increased radius and she almost threw his phone at the wall out of annoyance

Btw. we have some really exciting new maps coming up, so stay tuned.

Alex

I prefer flight frenzy over air control. The graphics are a lot more interesting, and i like the different levels. Just throwing that out here if you wanted to try it out.

I got this game about 3 days ago. I agree, Air Control is a much deeper game then it may look, this is the 3rd game I have paid for and it is worth it. It is also good to hear that more content will be released, I am really looking forward to it. I will have to say Air Control, Armored Strike (online) and Robo Defense are my 3 favorite games on Android right now. I am really not into the High end battery draining 3d games since most of the time they are really not that good game play wise they just look good it seems people often lean to the 3D games and they are really missing out since most of these 2d games are much better and much more original.

I am an ICU Nurse. Keeping my cool is the name of the game. Titrating Critical IV Drips. Timing is every thing. This game lets me do the right moves. Very fast at times. I am so stoked when I play Air Control. Relaxing. Love the game.
