I've been playing for a few months. The game is incredible. It's so simple on the surface, but once you get into it, it can get insanely complicated.

Hell, goodbye to whatever leftover free time I have left until I ship out December 14th!
Going to Walmart on my way home tomorrow to get a pre-paid card for paypal so I can just buy the damn game already, it's been 4 business days, and they've yet to transfer my twenty bucks to my account.
-sigh-
You gotta do what what you gotta do.
Also, it almost feels like overkill to be using my new RAT 7 mouse with this game... even with the little windowed free version that lets you just build stuff on hosted multi player servers. I almost feel obligated to use my web mouse while playing it... but the game's well... a game... and I have a... gaming...mouse... conundrum.

Dang, that looks pretty sweet! It's got 8-bit graphics architecture and everything! The water is so realistic
Hah, I know it's the other stuff that makes it fun for you all. I used to play a horrible game that had the best MMORPG community around, so I stuck to that aspect. Maybe I'll give this a try. Think my NVidia GTX 480 can handle it?

I know the graphics are poor, but it does demand quite a bit more from your pc than I expected.

Not really. Yes, they both involve mining, but it's otherwise completely different.

I've been playing it for a few weeks now, I'm addicted. So are all my friends from uni, we play it in lessons, lol.
My main map is a snow world, it's pretty fun. I found two mob spawners and set up traps for them.
I spent ages looking for a cavern, only to stumble across an enormous one, it seems to be endless. Awesome.

I absolutely love this game haha. I've been playing a fair while and only have 1 world in which I have a network of huge interconnected glass treehouses and a couple of 4-5 story 'mansions' made of brick. I've yet to find the time to do anything really inventive like this though:

Make two metal buckets and use them to scoop up still water (not running water). Then dig a 4x4 hole in the ground, one layer deep. Use the buckets if water in opposite corners of the 4x4 hole and you have..... infinite water
You can scoop up as much of that water as you like and it will always refill.
And every time you dump one of those buckets of water, it will act as a water source and spread out. So place a few on a mountain and you have a waterfall.

Tip for everyone: In the update at halloween, torches are going to need to be relit every so often using flint and steel. There will also be lanterns, but I've heard that these will be quite hard to make.
All of the torches you have currently will be automatically transformed into lanterns, so make as many torches as possible while they're still easy!

I don't think it's that high just yet. My friend worked out he earned about £2million since game launch, based on how many paid accounts there are.
That was about 3 weeks ago.
So he's got more now, but probably not 16 million, not even in euros.

I found an app the other day, its essentially a minecraft resource tool that allows you to view recipes etc, through an app, essentially its the Wiki in app form, i find it really useful since im still growing in the game and have troubles killing enemies at night. So i hoard my self up at night and plan out how im going to build next day.
