Ah, okay. I have 3 and 4 on my computer, but don't really do anything mod wise. I should someday (at least with morrowind, oblivion crawls on my system).
I don't think they have allowed 3rd party content on the consoles yet.

^ Yeah, just heard the same from a friend. I am conflicted, I really like TES as a series so far, and the whole fact that you always seem to have a pretty huge roll will be odd in MMO setting I think.
Instead of the Hero of Kavatch, we'll have the 4th Squadron of Kavatch Heroes...
EDIT:
Also, just the other day I saw on BethBlog that an add-on was announced. I think it was called Dawnstar. Hypothesis from those comments seem to be leading towards quests about some daedra (my favorite topic) - specifically Azura (my favorite daedra).
Though, I think it might also have to do with the town Dawnstar...?
Just mildly excited, I haven't put in my gaming time in a few weeks ...
spoilers for azura's skyrim quest
I hope she forgives me for my desecration of her artifact. Wonder if that'll play into the quest at all (if that's even where they take it)

^ I agree. Hopefully fallout stays away from MP. Team play would really ruin the whole atmosphere of fallout's lone hero wasteland feel. Though, I definitely got that same feeling when traveling Skyrim's vast mountains and Lydia decided to stay behind...

GO BRONCOS AND ROLLLLLLL TIDE!!!
I got ravaged by a few vampires already. Also i've been asked to join the Dawnguard which i will probably do. I've been trying to do mostly good with this character. I will start another one sometime to just be evil lol
I picked up Skyrim (on sale at Fry's) in July, and it was like crack for me for several months. It's the only game I would play, and I would turn on the xbox in the morning and start up the game, and before I knew it, I was looking out the window and wondering why it was still dark outside.
I finished the main storyline last month and while I did purchase the first DLC pack, I've been working up the courage to play again...
The only tip I can offer if your starting out is to investigate everything on the map if you have time. If I enter an area for a quest and I see places I haven't visited, I stop by on the way to the next quest. You don't have to venture into the area (cave for example), but if you get that quest later on, it makes it much easier to fast travel back to the cave instead of having to hop to the nearest point and then wander in the wilderness for a while...
I have been playing my new character for probably 30 in game hours and havent even touched any of the main story lines yet lol.
Currently, i get lots of laughs out of decapitating people as they are yelling at me....and continue to yell at me as their severed head rolls across the floor

I love the game myself personally! I beat the main quest and working on the side quest. I'd recommend anyone to join the companions they give you a power that turns you into a werewolf which I had no idea about. But over all the game is amazing!
I remember thinking the same thing about Oblivion, and Skyrim did start off slow.
I can't explain it, but somewhere in the game I got sucked in and couldn't put it down...
Personally all the games i play that involve combat i love the kind of sword and shield combat stuff, so i get sucked right in as soon as i get a sword and shield, i become instantly addicted and love enchanting all my stuff and even merchanting with everyone, my greatest love is probably all of the side quests, just an endless amount of fun

This thread needs to stop dying....anyhow last night i decided to drop Minecraft and pick up Skyrim once again, currently i have a level 30 Nord, Sword & Shield, pretty much a tank
I decided to go mod crazy a couple days ago and installed a bunch of lighting mods and such that actually make me utilize torches at night and in dungeons, because i found torches entirely useless in the game before then because the game was too bright in general, it was one of the major flaws that made me dislike vanilla Skyrim

I'd love to learn how to mod but could never figure it out. I download the mods but never figure out how to put them on my games
I'm on my 3rd time playing Skyrim. My PS3 died during my first game, had to wipe it and start over, died again and had to send it in. I'm playing the same kind of character, but I haven't touched the main quest yet. I guess the game is all what you make it and the kind of story you build yourself. My character is a heavy drinker this play through because by this point she's seen all this craziness play out 3 times. My house is full of mead and ale and no furniture. Lydia keeps my secret. lol
The Companions are my favorite faction, felt so bad about the whole Kodlack thing. Dark Brotherhood is fun too, but I liked it better in Oblivion. Thieves guild is pretty awesome as well, I like the Nightingales aspect and that armor is BA.

Haha yeah, Im just the opposite, I done the main quest and started the side. Not the spoil anything for you but at the end you get a pretty AWESOME should which allows you to have some help in whatever you want (not saying exactly what /who it is I don't want to ruin things for you! )

I never finished the main quest, but on my first playthrough (before PS3 death #1) I got like 80% through it. I really plan on finishing, I just got so caught up in side quests this time! I'm also playing on a harder difficulty, so I'm trying to level up more before getting into any serious battles.
I have recently downloaded the house DLC and started getting my house in order, over Southeast of Solitude.
Anyhow, to install mods look into Nexus Mod Manager, it is a program that runs alongside of skyrim and you can download mods directly from it from the website and load them to your game.
Make sure your video card can handle some of the graphical enhancements though

Ohhh... Sorry to hear that man.
As far as I kno there's no mods for the Xbox SKyrim, but I don't think there are though.
Its cool! Guess what though!! Someone offered me a laptop for 40 bucks. That's running windows 7 home premium. And the only thing wrong is the b key is missing. Looks like I'm in luck (:
Yeah i know i just upgraded my graphics and played Skyrim max on everything and it was literally amazing, thinking about starting over again...for the 5th time haha.
Anyhow recently enough the Minecraft server i made for the AF Staff has been occupying me...Minecrafting with the AF Team

I'll have to download it from steam and then I'll test your server (:
I didn't wanna start a new thread. But is there a way I could copy steam games from another friends PC onto an external memory source. Then place them onto my computer and actually play them?so I wouldn't have to pay for them myself.
