It's supposed to be a little more natural, and make it so you can hit every button with your fingers. Right now, when I play halo, I have to take my thumb off the joystick to use the a,b,x,y buttons, and that's one of the ideas that went into the controller supposedly.

I think that if you just practice a lot, you can get good at any game really, the controller doesn't matter that much.
