Am I the only one waiting on a mortar nerf? Its getting really annoying seeing people sitting in spawn the whole game doing nothing but firing mortars.

picked mine up on Saturday - never played BF before, always been a COD boy. By God is my mind blown. Only played multiplayer on TDM so far, are vehicles etc in other game modes?
I typically play Conquest only (Conquest Large to be exact) and it's full of awesomeness. I'm more of a run and gunner, don't really like the vehicles much.

i'm with hitman. I'm a run and gun type but I find myself going 3-13 a lot in this game. Although I'm usually top 5 in points. I didnt care too much about KD in cod games but I think its absolutely pointless in bf3.

That isn't entirely true if you're playing TDM/SDM or to an extent in conquest, though thats the perfect mentality for rush.

I ALWAYS care about my KDR, in COD and BF, especially since I nearly only ever play TDM type games. Getting lots of kills is awesome, but if you get loads of deaths as well thats points for the other team...

i totally agree with you if you play TDM style games. But if you play objective based matches, that doesnt matter at all. If I had a dollar for every time I witnessed the losing team with a player that went 20-3, I'd be rich. We just won a bunch of matches the other night and the best KD on our team was usually around 15-10. I primarily play conquest and you can have everyone on your team go even with KD and still win the game if you own 2/3 of the flags.

Objective-based ftw! TDM is boring as hell. If I wanna play TDM, i'll go buy a shitty rendition of CoD.

Never been much of a fan of sniping. I literally just love to run and gun. I'm typically the Assault class, but once I finish unlocking everything there, I'm going to move onto Engineer then Support. Recon will never get touched.

Can always throw a PDW or shotgun on recon. Or just put a holo on the SKS. lol
Glad to see a win/loss higher then a KD. Battlefield needs more players like that.
I'm finding I'm losing interest in this game though, the amount of crap thats going down right now is just beyond my tolerance. Maybe once the patch goes through it'll get better, at the very least I'll be able to mess around with snipers and have fun like I did in BC2 without failing miserably.
