The future of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts because there has been little to no news on these franchises for a long time with hints and announcements dating back to 2008....

i would love to hear about a new FF game or kingdom hearts game, im surprised they havent done KH on PS3 yet.
I am still waiting for Final Fantasy Versus XIII......which was announced back in 2006...in which was said by Nomura that it most likely won't have a 2011 release....KH3 was hinted as the stories from all the other KH games indicate that the story is not complete....but seeing a release on that won't be likely for a couple of years.
I expect Square to tease once again at E3 and hoping Konomi has an awesome extended trailer and demo of Metal Gear Solid: Rising.
Not sure what else to expect, another Grand Theft Auto 5 perhaps?
Also interested in seeing the next Nintendo system
After watching M$ keynote yesterday, I must say that gaming is looking pretty dull. I was unimpressed by all the Kinect games releasing. They need to get those big exclusives out there. Can't wait for Mass Effect 3 and Gears 3. Those are pretty much the only good games coming out for the console in the near future (besides Forza 4).
Rumor has it that FF13 Versus is no longer going to be PS3 exclusive. Just what a little birdie informed me of.

I agree games are starting to get pretty dull. theres really nothing truly new and exciting coming out. its another FPS here, racing/arcade sim there,a bunch of sequels that dont change anything, and then your overly styled remake of an old classic.
I may be missing something, but the wii-u seems pointless to me i dont want to be using a tablet to be my controller.
I agree. The Wii-U tablet controller is very pointless. All it'll do is scare away many potential buyers. That controller is going to be well above $100 per piece, let alone the console price too. It's a shame Nintendo finally just got on par with the 360 and PS3, which isn't even fair to compare. You'd have to compare the Wii-U to the PS4 and XBox "720" to even make a fair argument.
Nintendo needs to drop these stupid gimmicks and focus on making amazing games like the N64 era.
Prototype 2, that new Need for Speed game - not Shift 2, Saints Row the 3rd, Assassins Creed, Gears 3. Metal Gear.

The standouts to me where Skyrim (Elder Scrolls) and Star Wars : The Old Republic (PC Only for now). One of the Devs for Skyrim gave us a 20 minute gameplay demo (on a 360) and it looked fantastic. It had many innovative features that I haven't seen before. SW:TOR I have been looking forward to for a long time now so that was a no brainer. Other standouts where Battlefield 3, Rage, Alice 2 and Twisted Metal.
I was UNIMPRESSED with the Wii U (and it's controller). The models showing them off where cute though...Heh...
I'm not big into mobile gaming, but I got to play with the PS Vita at the Sony press conference and that seemed really good if your into that type of thing. Lots of inventive control schemes where you could use the controler or the screen for certain elements. But then again they where dumping free booze down my throat, so my opinion might be a bit skewed. Hah.

Still waiting (semi) patiently for my Galaxy Nexus
Was def excited about the Uncharted 3 trailer. Thanks to the thread on here I saw the AC: Revelations one, that should be awesome. I kinda had to chuckle when I saw the Twisted Metal trailer. They had posted one at last year's E3, too.

Similar? Oblivion... not ringing a bell... will have to look it up.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is it's official title. It's one of the games in the series. It was the last one to release which was one of the first games released when the 360 just came out.
I'm with you know....... hmm might have to check that out first to see how i like the mechanics and such
They changed almost everything in Skyrim so the Oblivion mechanics probably wouldn't do it much justice. If you can swipe a cheap GoTY copy of Oblivion, I would. It's worth playing.

I'm term between this and getting back into assassins creed 2. Can't really decide, love open world and played some Ac 2 already...
Finish AC2 first, then fire in to Oblivion, that requires a fair bit of time.
Well I'm barely into AC2 but not so sure about oblivion... maybe i look and see if there is a demo i can try first. Just know that Skyrim looka INCREDIBLE!! Plus I did just get Infamous free so if that is cool then i guess i will be playing part 2 of that as well

So many games, so little time
I have no idea when Revelations comes out but Skyrim isn't due until the Holiday season so maybe you can snag it as a Christmas gift or something.
Yea I went back and looked at Skyrim yesterday (I got E3 on G4 on DVR...be quiet...at least I didnt record it in HD)
I wasnt into the earlier Elder Scrolls games...but I will be getting Skyrim when it comes out. Going to go check out Oblivion now. Twisted Metal has a special place in my heart too...
I tried to play games on my PC...it just wasnt the same to me. I'm a gamer who doesnt really like PC games...lol. I might try some PC games besides the Sims this year.
I was psyched about Deus Ex Human Resources* when the trailers came out then saw that art director give and interview and realized he made the hero look like himself, now I can get that jerk out of my mind -- totally ruined one of the immersion factors :\
Will still proll play it though. Skyrim looks nice too of course.
*Yes Human Resources. You are a mix of man an machine with biotech implants who can sort resumes and interview job applicants like no man has ever done before.
Skyrim looks great. Think I will wait until a couple of months after release though. Elder scrolls games make it to hte bargain bin almost as fast as sports games do!

In all fairness, it'll take that long for them to patch all the bugs too.
