Default Need Help Deciding

My PS3 ylod'ed and well I may have a way to fix it but I had been thinking about getting a 360. I'm a diehard PS fan and hate Microsoft with a passion. However, ALL of my friends but one have a 360. So whatdya say?

You can hate Microsoft all you want, but what's the purpose of gaming if you aren't gaming with your friends?

I have about 80 friends ore so on PSN and might know maybe 10 off of it. You make friends, it's not hard to do. Especially since you have Playstation Home.

Is it completely unfeasible to have both?

Not at all. I'm going to fix my ps3 pretty soon but I just sure if I should get a 360 on top. I don't use home seeing that it takes up pretty much what's left on my hdd.

Not denying the fact that it's cake to get friends online but the purpose is to play with your own friends, not virtual folks.

It seems that the broken PS3 is completely irrelevant in this scenario.

Basically you are saying the following:
"Everyone I know has a 360. Should I get one?"

If you want to pay $50 a year just to have access to online content, go for it. Only you can decide if it's worth it, really.

Perhaps my reasoning is because the only games I play with my friends tend to involve quicker ways of getting drunk.

Hmm...turning MP gaming into a drinking game...

Three 360's? What are you doing to them?

Or is it the red ring of death? Mine has recently succumbed to this :-(

I have both although my 360 rarely gets used, unless im playing kinect. my PS3 is the main deal of my gaming. with that said, I don't do a lot of online gaming and that seems to be where the 360 really out shines the PS3.

I like the xbox much more over ps3. And as i saw people posted above, playing with friends you know is much more fun.

I have NO idea how anyone could play an FPS on the Wii. It just seems ass backwards to me.
