Got it today, but I probably won't get the opportunity to play to Monday. Through the magic of Trade In and the card I found, I ended up paying £6.
very nice bargin!
I'm like a third of the way through, havent had much time to play. Really liking it so far though. I just wish there was a way to turn off the headbob.

I've only played for a bit today, but I'm liking. It is quite unforgiving, but not many games are nowadays so that's cool with me!
I thought the QR Codes on the Sarif boxes taking you to the Sarif website was a nice touch and apparently there are nods to Demolition Man and Robocop later on in the game.
i find the bosses to be extremely difficult (more so than the rest of the game). I'm also taking the non-lethal/stealth approach. It adds additional excitement to the game.
I think you can have a box of energy bars or a single energy bar.... and there may be other energy drinks or something.... not sure.
The battery system is a bit weak but it's liveable. I generally dig the interface. They really tried to stay true to the original
Well ya i know you can manually get them back, but I dont understand why sometimes it will self charge all the batteries. I can't seem to pinpoint when this happens.

And how do you kill robots without EMP grenades?
EMP mines? I have no idea tbh. I have only used one EMP so far....
(possible spoiler)
...vs the big mech near the end of the Sarif factory level in Detroit (relatively early in the game I think). But that grenade took down the mech like a champ

Def worth buying. I'm not even that far in and I'm lost in side quests already. There's loads too it, it's a challenge and it looks as though there'll be some replay factor too.
So how are people going about setting up Augmentations? I been going more hacking first since you can get anywhere without engaging in combat if your patient enough.

I can't remember their names, but I've gone for the one that gives you the enemies field of vision on your radar (very handy), the one which allows you to influence conversations (very cleverly done) and one of the hacking ones so far.
I've been playing for ages and I'm not very far in. I'm determined to do most of it without being seen so I keep reverting to saves/checkpoints when I'm detected.

I kinda screwed my augs. I got some bad hacking ones thinking they were the ones to allow me to hack harder stuff. Then i finally got the correct ones.
Hacking seems pretty important, as it opens up so much. Also the strength one is nice for being able to lift heavy crates so you can hop fences and whatnot.
Other than that I dunno yet. I seem to run out of inventory a lot, wondering about using that one.

I was toying with the one that allows you to walk silently, but there is very little detriment to speed when crouched so I didn't see the point. I'm stuck between do I spend my points on what's practical against what's going to have the coolness factor.
The hacking ones have proved useful, especially the one that lowers the percentage chance of detection. The inventory aug has also proved to be a must (although I could still do with more space) but the social enhancer is easily the best so far. I've only used it a few times, but think it's implemented pretty well, getting the better of Sarif after the first mission felt good.

It's taken a while, but I'm on the last set of missions. I've done a lot of reloading saves etc as I want to get the foxy stoat (or whatever it's called) achievement and go through the game without killing anyone. I've a question about the last mission for those who've finished it.
Just in case folk haven't got there yet, there might be tiny spoilers.
Do I lose anything by not going to see Sarif & Taggart before I take the lift to the Hyron hub and face Zhao? I've really enjoyed the game so far but the last mission with those bloody "zombies" is driving me insane and I'm keen to get it over and done with as soon as possible.

yes, if you dont see sarif and taggart before you beat the boss you can't see all the endings. Unless you play again from a early save point. Basically after you beat the boss you have a bunch of options to pick from. 2 will not be there if you dont see them both.

alot of it is me since im playing 4 other games right now as well (WoW,Batman Arkham asylum[just bought],demons souls, and oblivion) which doesn't help. But mainly it just seems a little too difficult, im always running out of ammo, and only have one energy bar so i can only take out one enemy at a time not tomention death comes very easily.

It gets better as the game goes on. If you're struggling to take folk down, the stun gun is a pretty good weapon, as is the tranquillizer gun.
thats the other thing, i didnt read any real reviews or videos before buying it, so i assumed it would be a different style (more action RPG/shooter, then stealth/shooter RPG)
