Ok wife and I are playing this game but we can not level up our charater. We have the icon on that says we can level up but when we sleep in the bed and wake up the menu to level up doesn't pop up. What are we doing wrong? This is for ps3.

Hmm.. that *should* be all you need to do...

Though, with Oblivion, the enemies don't really get harder when you level, you just get different loot... so if you cannot resolve this issue, at least it doesn't impact gameplay *that* much... Sorry, not sure about this problem.

Wife and I figured it out. Had to delete the saved data on the hard drive and load the game again for it to work. Luckily didn't have to delete saved games. It works now and wife is happy.

^ Was it the whole save data for oblivion? or just like the most recent save?

No it was the game data and not the saved games.

Okay, so it was the game installed to the HD. At least it wasn't the save data O.o

Also, I think it's awesome that your wife plays elder scrolls.

Enemies do get harder as you level, but it's in proportion to your level, so it won't necessarily feel harder.

If you were to max all your skills without raising your level though, the enemies would become completely trivial, even without higher level gear.
