Hi

I have a garmin A50 android 2.1 however i think this is same on all android phones

I have been trying to add contacts , however after i add them there is still nothing in my contacts (little picture of man) and says "No contacts with phone Numbers" however in my favorites there is some contactsand if i do a search they are there ?? so how do i get them to appear on this list ??? or am i missing something ? is this not a contacts list/page ?? or is it omly for downloading from gmail or something ??
Am i supposed to keep all contacts in favorites ?? are my contacts on the Sim ? internal memory ?? or SD card ??? How do i know.

Any help or suggestions is appriciated thanks all

Think I found my own answer - I found that I had to put contacts in my Gmail contacts page and they come up as contacts on my phone - funny cannot do it without doing via gmail though.

I did a Sync and WAIT, half the contacts were missing, or became duplicates. Your contacts do remain on the sim card, and they were still in the GMail. I agree with not liking having to us an email account that can be hacked (my yahoo was twice)
