Hmmm... "mobile internet device" is a pretty broad label. By that definition, I suppose all smartphones and iPads (the 3G ones, anyway) are a "mobile internet device."

Not disputing you... I'm sure you're correct (thank you)... just seems like a broad label maybe intended to fit a narrower category.

It can apply to almost anything that is "mobile", that connects to the "internet", and that is a "device" .. they have other phrases that narrow it down too, such as notebook, netbook, smartbook, etc.. It itself is a broad label, not a category, imho.
