Notsure Android tablets with these features

Can someone help me, I have been searching and searching online and can't get a clear answer on anything. I'm looking for an android tablet... I was looking to pay 200 or lesss, but if i can find one more expensive that has what i need i'd be willing to fork out.

Are there any tablets that are actually compatible with skype? Not just chat skype.. actual video chat. I've read that somet tablets have camera's but no mic (dont understand that point of that). Also, I want one thats going to perform fairly well... no lag. And it absolutely MUST have an hdmi output... angry birds on the big screen (;

Is there any tablets that anyone knows of that have these features?

Hmm...I think Archos might fit that bill. Tbh idk about video chat. I saw a video of someone video chatting with someone across the world but the sound was muffled on their end but he was hearing them fine. Could of been defective unit or perhaps its not all setup for that yet.

The price is about $277 for the 7" and it does have hdmi output. I believe they are the least laggy tabs that would meet your criteria atm but all things lag.

I believe its about the closest to your needs in the price area that you are looking for that is currently available on the market.

Thank you.. I'm probably being too picky. I forget to mention that I was also looking for a 9inch or 10inch screen. Blahh. maybe I should wait til they release some newer ones, I'm sure it wont be long.

Well there is a 10in version for $299 or $349 depending on the storage size you want. So the price is a bit far off. This thing is hard to find though.

The viewsonic also seems to get some fairly decent praise but that is $389 with no hdmi out.(I don't believe)

You are right about it not being long though. I plan to get the Archos as a semi cheap alternative that will give me a good feel of how much I use a tablet so I can judge what I want to pay in the future. Also which size I would prefer 7 or 10.

Next month I would imagine we will see plenty of things announced. I am guessing though it will be Q2 till we some bigger selection and also even then I think they will be hovering around the $399-$499 price range.

So for now the Archos will be my little guinea pig and time passer till a big strong competitor enters market.

Good Luck in your search.
