Rooting a Kogan Agora?

Hi all, just purchased my first android device; a Kogan Agora tablet (which runs 2.3). Anyone had a go at rooting one of these? I'm a bit hesitant to just jump in without instructions, for fear of bricking it. If anyone has done it or seen a guide, it would be awesome if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks

Kogan Agora Tablet (TCC8803 based) - xda-developers

No custom ROM yet but after rooting you can fix various issues (like the 3G wake up thing).
