Default Parse error

I have a chinese tablet purchased in Australia agora kogan tablet, cheap but works OK. Some aps will not load from play & Kogan had to send me an apk for google books which installed & works ok. There is an update for google books and it will load but not instal. It comes up with error " Parse error" Any suggested ways to instal this ap, thanks from Bob

Sounds like buggy software in the tablet, most likely would require a manufacturer software update to fix it. The device was probably never tested properly for Google compatibility. Kogan is just the Australian importer.
