Default Help Appreciated - Sony S (refurb) vs. Nexus 7

Want to get the Wife a tablet as she is sitting at home with a new baby and a tablet would be perfect for sitting on the couch.

Not looking to spend much and the Sony S is at a very good price on one of the deal sites.

Sony - $190, refurb, 9 inch, 16GB, Tegra 2, SD slot

Nexus 7 - $199, new 7 inch, 8 GB, Tegra 3, no SD

I would normally be researching the heck out of this before i purchase but I am busy at work and the Sony is only available today.

Much thanks.

I'd say get a new Nexus 7 over a refurbished Sony. One thing, you'll be getting Android as Google intended and not Sonyized in any way.
