Default Cambridge Sciences - Latest tablet

My Son has badgered me to buy this tablet for his Birthday.. recommended by his school pals (I reckon it's OK.. but)

Apparently this is the latest iteration (fast as hell) according to his mates and has the Rockchip RK3066 Dual core Cortex A9 CPU 1.5GHz + ARM Mali TM-400 GPU Quad accelerated GPU .
I hope I am allowed to show a link to it, as never heard of this as a "named" brand, but awesome specs it seems.. priced £209.99

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009PM3Q8W/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers

I would appreciate any insight and advice on this please, from you techy folk.
I have emailed the vendors of this and they are in the UK and provide a full 1 year warranty, didn't want the possible return to China issues I've been reading about!!

Thanks in advance m8's.

Yeh, most of us don't want that. BTW I'm in China. The Guide to Chinese Androids.

This seems be OK. I'm sure Cambridge Sciences is a reputable UK company.

This is a very good indicator that it should be a good product...

...the charger has a proper real UK 3-pin plug.

Thanks for the reply mikedt, you confirmed what I thought.
With you living in China it must help if your kit needs returning for repair or replacement.. lol

Yeh I'm on first name terms with many of the stores here in Xilinhot. the advantage of being the only westerner in this city, and I'm pretty good at Mandarin now.
