Hi Jesper and Merry Xmas to you from China.

I believe this is a cheapo off-brand device. Basically they're a bad idea if you want Google Play, that's pretty much it. Reason is, it's got a Chinese Android ROM and Google doesn't have much to do with Android in China. Some of these devices can be hacked, but it's nearly always an unknown quantity, if things will work or not.

I too purchased two Measy A5A Android boxes. They work fine 2 times out of 5 with frequent disconnects from the wired LAN network. RCA Analog audio output quality is sub-standard on these devices.

I regret the purchase. I hope I will be able to flash the ROM with a better firmware OS in the future.

Default Hi, did you solve your problem ?

It looks I've got the same problems - every time I try to download any Google Play apps I got the info " error no 101"...
Do you know now what to do with it ?

greets
Czarek

Send them back, get a refund. From what I've been hearing lately these Measy devices are not good.

Pay particular attention to "Shoddy Hardware" and "Software Set-Backs"...

Sound is rather tinny and muffled is it? That seems about right. These are very cheapo devices. The quality of the analogue audio components will be really quite poor, if not garbage. However you should be able to get good SQ via the digital HDMI output.
