Is this the charging socket rather than the USB port? If so, the tablet should still charge OK via USB, either from your PC or a USB charger. If you're good with a soldering iron and glue you might be able to fix it yourself. If you have to pay a tech to fix it, it will almost certainly be cheaper to buy a new tablet.
