Default Tablet PC Android 4.0 1.5GHz Allwinner A13 4GB 512MB Wifi Dual Camera

Hey all new here, but been an android boy for years! I have a problem that hopefully someone can help me with.

Got one of these cheap Allwinner A13 tabs for on the go, however I’m having a problem of every time I switch it off and then on again it factory resets itself.

Is there anything that can be done?

Hello Fi262. Welcome!

Power down the device, then remove the sim and sd cards (if it has a sim card). Then remove the battery. Next put the sim and sd cards back in, then the battery. Power up.

Post back your results, please.

Hey Frisco,

The device doesn’t have a sim card and I don’t have an sd card inserted. Also can’t find a way to get the battery out without dismantling the device.

If it keeps on factory resetting itself, that's not right. More than likely it's faulty especially given what it is, a cheap Allwinner. Probably would be best to get an RMA, and return it for replacement or refund.
