I bought it on eBay. It says it's called a "dragon touch". Currently, it runs android 4.0.4 but I was wondering if it were possible to update to 4.1 somehow. It came rooted. If there is some way, how would I go about it? I don't know if any more information is needed, but if there is, let me know!

I'll have a look around, but I wouldn't hold out much hope, sorry!

It is notoriously difficult to find firmware upgrades for a lot of off brand tablets.

Does this match the spec/description at all: Dragon touch 9.7 IPS Allwinner A10

Ebay...and it shipped from Shenzhen or Hong Kong, China?

This is definitely an unknown tablet. Drawn a complete blank on this one, apart from the forum thread that El Pres posted. Can't even find the "Tablets Express" that the thread is referring to, who apparently distributed the Dragon Touch. Probably was some fly by night trading company run from a cheap hotel bedroom.

Even the name of this tablet sounds ominous. Dragon was last year, it's Year of the Snake now.
