Cry Problem with setting up static IP adress on flytouch 3

Hi . Yesterday I got my flytouch 3, disco10 which I flashed to Tim6a.
The problem is that I can't set up the IP address. I really don't know how. I tried a lot of different combinations following these instructions, but I haven't done anything How to set static IP address on Flytouch Tablet - YouTube

I'm using Scientific Atlanta cable modem and I don't have the options to turn off dhcp or anything on that matter.

I was hoping you can help my by looking at the information on these images.

Please help me! In my area there's no WiFi and I can't connect using that and I really do need internet access!

Have you fitted the rj45 network cable between your tablet and your router?

all you should have to do is turn on the ethernet port on your flytouch - go to menu/settings/ethernet configuration/ and put a tick in Turn on ethernet. If there is a tick in Use static IP then de-select it so there is no tick. close all the open windows and see if you have a connecion to the internet. Post back the results

Yes, of course. I'm not that big of a noob . First thing I did was that. It 'connects' but the ethernet connection icon is invalid - with exclamation point - and there is no 'internet'.
I browsed the web and found that tablet and the modem can't 'communicate' and that static ip address has to be set, but I really lack the knowledge to do that.

Well I don't know how much you know do I?

Your router appears to have a single host port so if you want to run both your PC with the Marvel Yukon gigabit NIC and your tablet together you are going to be disappointed. Your picture of the PC's NIC properties page would tend to disagree with your findings as it obtained a lease from a DHCP server so the PC network card is set to DHCP (check it).

If I'm wrong in all this then you should follow the video you have already seen to set a static IP in the tablet, choose the same IP as the PC because you cant run them both together. To find out what your PC's IP details are open a cmd prompt (start, run and type cmd, then press enter) then type ipconfig /all, note IP address, subnet mask, gateway and dns server addresses and enter them in your tablet.

I'm sorry . I did set it up. It turns out that I did get a connection the first time I set the static IP on the tablet, but the real problem is that I can't get internet :/. Let me explain.

I've connected the tablet with my modem and I can go to it's setup page via browser and everything is working properly there, but when I try google.com or any other site it can't get through. Page not available.
What do you think is the problem? Maybe Tim6a rom I flashed, but i doubt it?

EDIT: The only solution for this cable modem is a router.
