Replace internal TF and Save?

I purchased a FT3 but have not recieved it yet. I have read a lot of posts about bricking the pad.

I am thinking that before trying to flash my FT3, I can replace the internal card and save the original.

If it bricks, would putting the original card back in allow it to boot normally?
