I need testers for ATV-108 rev2(f16ref) / ATV-102 for new firmware.

I 've flushed the firmware today. Seems to be working just fine.
Greek subtitles are fine with no problem for my ATV-108 rev2 (f16ref) after choosing encoding Greek , on subtitles submenu.
DTS Audio has been fixed. (I was having problem previously*)
HD playback seems to be OK.
The only thing I 've noticed yet is when you power on , the default action of the infrared remote controls arrow keys , is mouse movemet and you have to press the mouse button every time to disable it.
*previously means the initial firmware that came , that had several issues like audio glich and hushes during DTS playback , no greek subtiltles (everything was chinese ect).
My box is indended to be used Primary with the included infrared RC as a media player.

Do you have problem running Play Store App on stane1983's firmware? I have problem running Play Store on his firmware for certain reason.

just for your information:
i have this : Logitech K400, its a wireless keyboard with integrated touchpad and usb-nano-receiver;
It works flawlessly, with all kind of roms i've tried out...
My Box is not original Visson 108 v.1, but a "Bluetimes M1" with c03ref, just other board-design (Hardware-Button in Front, SDcardslot leftside, 3xUSB-Ports rightside, WLan-antenna at rear...)
But all of Stane's roms are working perfectly on it (only had to change the remote.conf with my old original...)
Please support this nice little hardware further with new roms, thanx alot !!
If you have no output on your tv at all (no picture at all), then you will have to create recovery sdcard. To do that, you will need linux machine.
Here is tutorial:
Do everything it says here except use bootloader file you got with your firmware (your file: u-boot-aml-ucl.bin instead of u-boot-aml.bin)

I have a problem with my tv box. I've connected an wireless mouse, it works fine, but after a few minutes the mouse don't work. I move it to another USB port and then is ok for another few minutes.
I believe tase reported that for M3 device... Work in progress...
Problem is in old buggy kernel (2.6.34) and Synopsys DWC OTG driver 2.60a which dates back in 2006. I'm porting new version of usb drivers to current kernel.

Stane, a question.. is it possible to add support for BT microphone ? I'd like to use it with Skype and headphones work but the MIC from my handsfree BT doesn't... is it possible pleasssee ??
Been lurking around here... Got the M6 Amlogic Smart TV box (f16ref). It is performing quite OK with the XBMC builds around, just one MAJOR issue: ethernet connectivity: after bootup it falls back to 10 mbit FDX (LAN cable connection). This is clearly not enough for streaming HD content.
Is this a known issue with the ATV boxes as well? Or do we (because there are already quite a lot of us with the same problem out there) need to get down on our bare knees and hope that stane1983 has a fix?

then i put sd card in device push reset buton and same time i put power cable like your firmware upgrade (i did before) but not blue on red on and no screen no blink 3 times.

My problem is the unit does not seem to do a reset when the reset button is pressed and currently the device is not giving me a display so i can perform a reset within the device menu, i am trying to do this via the remote control but do not seem to get the right buttons to set off the device reset.
How would i go about performing a reset using the remote only with no visual display only audio?

According to my experience I didnt have any prob regarding wifi, but i do see that in forum some people are having some sort of issues. So i am not able to make out the exact prob.

Hi guys! When i adjust screen size and tap BACK button - android say what all was fine and new settings was saved, but if i open any application - screen settings restore by default. Also online-tv applications showing video only on top half of the screen (very big glitch). Can anyone help me?

i am also having some sort of usb game controllers related prob
So, it seems my hosting provider have some problems... so I temporary closed my download section until we solve the problem.
About maintaining firmwares and fixing bugs, I'll continue my work and you will be informed on the status.

I've tested many usb drivers, including last fron android sdk, with no success.

That function of usb doesn't work on ICS (old OTG drivers, incompatibilities...). But adb over network should work..... adb connect ip_address. Same for M3 devices, adb over network should work.

Recovery sdcard must do the job (either tutorial or SDTool). When using tutorial, do not skip Linux part (had someone who is doing all mentioned in tutorial.... and after 30 minutes trying to help him he told me he skipped linux part because he doesn't have one )
Use non SDHC card, smallest as possible. After SDTool or tutorial, reinsert card and copy all firmware files to sdcard. Put your sdcard in box and power it on holding reset button. That procedure must work. If not, I cant really help you... you can solder ttl interface and using ttl adapter see what's going on on uart when you power on device...

I neead a help and I was searching all this form and did not found to upgrade how to upgrade from 2.3 to 4.0 ATV-108 rev 1 devicewithout reset button or power switch I am not able to find the Upgrade application also.

Actually I have small problem.
my wireless mouse work will when i starting the device (TV BOX) but after a few minutes the mouse freezing and dose not working.
I have to disconnect the mouse and connect the wireless and after that the mouse will work agin a few minutes.
I have 2 another mouse all of theme have a same problem.
my board is f16ref

I use Vplay Firmware by Stane in my MeasyX7 . it wasn't easy to install, but is working very well. The only thing that fails is when plays DVDs. Browsing files and playing them with the default player work well, but without menus.
Because of that, I test other players that support DVD menus. MKVs and others files work with hardware decoder. All this players do the job, but DVDs with menus are software decoded and didn't work fine (unsyncronized sound, frames skipped, etc.). I change decoder settings without success.
How can I force use Hardware decode for DVDs ?

Find one of original firmwares of your device. Open it's update.zip and inside zip under /system/etc folder you will find remote.conf.
Copy that file over mine inside my update.zip or use ES explorer or any other root explorer and copy it to (device) /system/etc folder and restart the box.

Hi! Did you fix your trouble?
If yes - share the experience. It may be useful for other people.
If not -before going to higher mathematics and dancing with magic witch drums - go a page or two backward, find my long post and do step by step all "checks-for -a dummy" from it. At least answer questions:
1. What output to your TV are you using while upgrading - AV, or HDMI?
2. Did you try to insert both SD card and USB drive simultaneously with the same upgrade set of files?
3. After/if you tried to push in both SD and USB - did you see any folders after restarting and waiting for 15-20 minutes on any of them that have not been there before - for example, .LOST DIR?
I strongly advise you to do it before you managed to kill your loader.
If you even have your original firmware - it is impossible that your devise is killed.
