Webcam with c03ref Android 2.3 problems GV-13

I just tried using a logitech webcam c170 w/ my Google Tv box Gv-13. A9. The box recognizes the webcam, but the picture is very white - the balance is way out and no adjust can be made via the camera controls. Skype pulls up a picture, but then it freezes providing only a still take every 60 sec or so. Has anyone else had this experience or found a way to get around it. The microphone on the camera worked well w/ Skype. I'm using 2.3 still - I wonder if switching to ICS would make a difference or not? Any suggestions?

Did you solve your problem? I have same problem with my Google TV Box WiFi 1080P HD Media Player. I plugged Logitech C510 HD Webcam in to android box but I couldn' t be succesfull to run it. If you did it, could you help me?

Wish I could. The newest version of Skype made it function barely - incredible lag, but did work. I gave up on it in the end.
