I doubt it will kill other companies, mainly Microsoft Office. But I wonder will Google make it for the desktop besides the mobile market!

The old google docs definitely wasn't cutting it.
Quickoffice is pretty slick for Android word processing/spreadsheet, although not on-line.
Maybe they can put all that together into a great on-line office package.

I disagree. I'm in college and I love using Google Docs.
The way it allows all group members to be editing one document at the same time is priceless.
Their "excel" version wasn't as good though, I'll agree. It was frustrating at times with it's formatting and lack of features.
