I'ma let you guys ponder over this for a second:

I want to look at it. I just got the Droid in March, but the X is tempting.

Here's my issue. I played with a friend's Evo. Nice phone, I guess. But, since the resolution on the screen is almost the same, it just looks like everything is blown up. If it's the same on the X, I'll hold out until a higher resolution screen comes out.

That said, I'm still really tempted. I don't want, or need, a front-facing camera. 4G is really not something I need, either.

Yeah....I'd just got buy it. I'd definitely keep my Droid, but the Droid X I have to say is pretty darn nice. It comes with 1GHz out the box. Just imagine where it can be OC to. Also there's rumors that it's been rooted already.

I'll screw around with it I guess and see if I like it. I've wanted to start learning how to develop Android apps, anyway, so I could always use the Droid as a test device...

Now for the real question, how pissed is my wife gonna be if I have a shiny new toy?

My fiancee is already there. U want another phone. Why can't u stay with one for a year lol. But I love this stuff and I to wanna start developing stuff as well. I know the easiest is to start with kernels, so when I upgrade from this bootleg "shiba" laptop I'mma start.
