I agree, we do not need loads of iPhone hate threads. We all chose Desires/Androids because they suited us the best. We are here to discuss them and not the iPhone.

Agreed - one of the things I like most about the Android community is that we usually appreciate our OS for its merits rather than rubbing all its benefits in the faces of others (working in an office with five people, four of whom use iPhones, I never felt the need to explain all the "amazing" things the iOS4 could do have been around on Android forever, I don't care about point scoring, I just want a decent phone).

Ideally all smartphones should be good, because it means more choice and more competition, both of which are great for us customers.

I clicked on this thread hoping to read some good solid reasons why the Desire was better than the iPhone....guess that won't be possible.

I would've thought a thread like this could be helpful to others deciding between one of the 2 phones.
