Looks like Seidio redesigned the Active Limited Case.
Seidio Active Cases are by far the best cases that Seidio released for Evo phones.

The new White design is something to drool over.

they no longer look like the black one that I reviewed couple weeks ago.

Looks like the new design case isn't available on Amazon. Amazon only has a new combo of colors. These new Active Limited Edition Case are exclusively sold by Seidio this time.

I think these would definitely take some spot on ottobox and case mate

I ordered the old one off amazon and should be getting it on monday, I'd like to see a review of the old one vs. new.

Both looks nice. The old one is more rugged so it depends if someone likes the simple look of the new one (on the sides).

I definitely prefer the newer style/look. Mostly because you guys went with a 2 tone color now (black on whatever the color of the case). I didn't buy the Surface cases because it's all one color and looks overpowering and/or boring because it's a huge surface area to cover.

That is what I used to use on my iPhone for a year and got tons of compliments. I got the red version, which actually looks burgundy/wine in person. I prefer burgundy (or garnet) cause I graduated from Univ of South Carolina. I finally found a good case but I'm considering the burgundy of the new look Active cases now. The black trim was a very good idea.

Well i like the rugged because it has all controls covered with the rubbercase even the camera thats great for keeping my baby safe!Does the rugged have the updated innocase?

Looks much better than the Amazon one, might have to return to Amazon to get this one in Burgundy. Seidio keeps redoing their design on everything, maybe they should have just made it right the 1st time.

the redesign does look nice. but wouldn't it be a pain in the ass just to return for a newer versoin? you have to deal with sending it back, rebuying and waiting and your EVO isn't protected.

It appears the new one loses its grip design on the sides? I really like that about my current Active case. So I choose the older design. Although the white back looks really good to me, and wouldnt look as good on the first generation. I choose better grip over the appearance though.

Well I ordered a Rugged combo with the innocase ii clip. Then you release the new active. And it seems to be more wallet friendly and has a nicer design. I would prefer the rugged be more like the active case but could be more enclosed. The camera port is nice, wish the rugged had a kick stand port like the active case. At the very least give me the option.

What makes me upset, is that after placing my order, I think I'm getting a good case, then a few days later you release a better case and now I cant change my order. Because, your website will not allow me to change my order after 2 hours. On top of that you push back the release date three times.

No not at all, I will just order the one I want from Seidio and I have until August 2nd to return the one thru Amazon. As long as I have the new one by then it won't go unprotected.

I ordered their rugged case also, and I wish they would have included a port access for the kickstand. I mean how hard would it have been to cut out a port cover similar to the one for the camera that could be opened and closed. But since I wear my shirt tucked in outdoors I needed a case that provided full protection from the elements ie: light rain.
