Help How to unlock the Galaxy S?

Hi,
I am absolutely new to the world of Android, so the Galaxy S is my first Android phone.
I would like to unlock the phone and would like to know how this works. All I have seen is that you can put in an unlock code for it to unlock, but the sites that are offering these codes all want money.

Are there any free sites with unlock codes or is there any workaround like rooting the phone?

No body really knows yet as this phone is yet to be released world wide

I just bought a phone from E-bay and It was T-Mobile and locked. I am traveling to Europe and not sure how to do this. Guess Im headed to Ebay for an unlock code.

I just bought a phone from E-bay and It was T-Mobile and locked. But I found This Seller aprivate who had the solution!

The problem is that every where you look, unlock codes are $25 and 24 hours. Not this one. It was instant. You have to follow some pretty easy instructions, watch a video, and pay $17 an you get your unlock code immediately!

Sound too good to be true, well i thought so too, but after all I figured I was protected by ebay and Paypal in case something went wrong. It was perfect!
