Anyone Receive a 12.8MB OTA Update Today?

Hey all,

I very unexpectedly received an OTA update today. Currently running 2.1 Leak V3 and was under the assumption from reading posts here that I wasn't supposed to receive anything OTA at all.. guess not.

I don't want to lose/delay potential root capability and knowing Verizon, there's an HBOOT update in there..

Can anyone shed some light?

12.8mb is quite large, so there ought to be a lot of fixes!

Im on RUU and so far nothing. I even tried forcing it with CHECKIN

Where on the SD would I find it? Root folder?

Can you tell us your "build number" from settings: about phone: software info?

I have been looking at a couple different threads this morning and the one thing I have noticed is that the only ppl who say they have gotten it so far are all on a Leaked version... is this the fabled V3 conversion to official OTA?

I was wondering that same thing.

While I am sure there are a number of leak users out there that are saying "I did't get anything yet", I think it is worth watching. Would be interesting to see who all gets it in the next couple days and what they are running.

Don't have a clue what might have changed. It all seems the same as before the update.

I received it this morning and installed it. Noticed nothing different so far. Didn't fix the 50% without signal bug as I had to do the airplane trick again after the auto reboot. I am a newbie and am not rooted or on a leak version. If that helps anyone. Not sure what they fixed.

I'm on OTA 2.1 (non-leak) and your baseband, kernel, and software number are all different.
