the 2.1 part 2

well, after changing routers 3 times because none of them would connect to my hero, i finally got one that would, this update better be worth it, at 90% now so will reply when its updated

all updated, there are no live wallpapers, no navigation, tbh, its a dissapointment

I'm finding it faster and smoother tbh - ao no complaints although starting up does take a while longer.

well thanks to elektrobix, i now have navigation, but the biggest downer is battery life, i have used it today as i normally would have and my battery went from 100 to 42 in 7 hours, where as 1.5 would have been around 70 in 7 hours, i only used to have to recharge it every night around 11 and unplugg around 8 in the morning, now i have to charge it at about 5 at night

Sounds similar to my battery performance on my custom 2.1 rom, my awake time during a 10 hour day is probably on average 60-70% and I use adhoc WiFi for 2 of those so my data consumption is constant and i get my battery beeping at 20% after 10 hours. I was hoping that the official ROM would improve battery performance, I may have to buy a bigger battery!!

unfortunatly, i do not have an option to buy a bigger battery, i am 15 and all the money i earn has to go on my contract, i was also hopeing for better battery, i have tried 2.1 custom roms and there battery life is much better than this offical one
