1. The stock battery seems a little weak, even for a 1300mah- is the 2150 made by the same company?

2. The Seido 1750 is a fraction of an inch bigger, but performs at least 40% better than the 1300. I have the 1750 and agree with this. I am wrong, the 3500 is a considerably bigger.

3. The Seido 3500 cover appears to be just a fraction of an inch bigger than the HTC 2150. The step size is different (Seido even steps, but HTC top step is taller), but total height is close to same.

4. Battery tests at XDA and Incredible Forums.com show performance is on par with the mah difference in size: Around 60%.

added:

The 3500 is bigger than I thought, after seeing some more relative picks. I guess it all comes down to how much hump you can handle for more battery life ;)

What do you folks think? Seidio is $50 and free shipping at Amazon.

Are you talking about a real test with the batteries on an analyzer or just peoples experience with the larger battery?

Can you link to post on the other forum ?

No actual readings, so all just statements. Not sure the exact links, since I used Tapatalk while in meetings and just scrolled through messages on HTC Droid Incredible forum (not this site- another named as such) and XDA forum.

I do know that the 1750 performs at least proportionally to expectations of the 1750 over the 1300, so I would expect correlation with the 3500 over the 2150.

It would be nice if the bigger battery cover and weight offset could result in a stand for one of these two.

2150. No regrets. No double hump. I can get through a 16 hour day and still have 60% left. What more so you need? With my corp discount the 2150 was $45 shipped free.

What I'd like to know is what is the real capacity of both vs stated.

Hey, wasn't your icon in one of the twilight movies?? ;)

I already bought a 1750 battery & VZW silicon case, so will wait to see if my poor audio call quality is fixed via a software update (as VZW told me will happen) before spending anymore money on it.

I thought Seidio batteries were proven to be much lower capacity. A thread here showed its a label covering up cells which are much lower capacity. The 1750 is more like the 1300 or 1500. Likewise the 2600 is probably the 2150,

Many people believed that SEIDIO's claim of buying the best cells and their batteries contained proprietary information that could not be explained.

I started that thread, I still stand behind my gut/feelings - batteries in the SEIDIO 1750 are very much like the websites I linked to show - nominal charge = 1500mAh and Typical is 1600mAh.
