In store MIR vs. on-line discount

Okay question here regarding Droid X
If you order in store you get $100.00 MIR??
So basically the price goes from $199.00 down to $100.00.
I read somewhere that the $199.00 price already included a $100.00
on line discount.

Just so I'm clear on this if I go to an Verizon store and order Droid X I can get it for $99.00 instead of $199.00 after MIR is applied???

Please someone clarify

Actually the price in store is $199.00 after the rebate. They factor it in. You will pay $299.00 then have to mail in the rebate and wait for your $100.00. If you go online they automatically give you the rebate. I started ordering from the website for that reason alone.
