Just got my V-Moda Vibe duo set in. ::: v-moda :::

Had to find the right size of rubber ear fittings(included).

Got them inserted and seated properly in the ears.

WOW!! These sound fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars.

They have:
- a mic built in which works on calls(i tested)
-function button that answers/ends calls(tested)
-same button pauses/plays music
-nice little storage pouch

The button does call the most recent contact on ur history when u double
Click it. Im still learning this headset, but the sound is awesome. Nice fathers
Day gift from the wifey haha.

I asked myself the same question. There are often VModas for $9.99 for 2 sets. Then I found out that there are fake VModas out there. I have no choice but to assume the cheap eBay versions are just that.

Again, I have ordered multiple sets from Ebay, and they are real, not fake. I don't know about the 9.99 ones, but they are out there for around 20 nib. Feel free not to believe me though, as I have nothing better to do that lie about headphones...:D

yeah i have been using the vmodas without mic for about 2.5 years. they are indeed top shelf. i paid about 150 for mine back then.. the case is a little fruity and they give you a VIP card LOL... but yes these are worth the cost! they have some weight to them which adds to the quality feel... i will definitely get these in black to match the EVO....

Nah, don't get me wrong. I wasn't calling you a liar or anything. I was just saying what I thought about the questionable pricing on what I've seen on eBay.

Hell, I paid $120 a year ago. They had quality issues with the older models, but the newer ones are GTG. Great headphones, yet the carrying case is ghey.

I'm in the paid $125 over a year ago, and while they sounded great, they quality was about a 3, on a scale of 1 to 10. The cords were horrible and stiff, tangling easy and after swapping out 2 pairs and waiting nearly a month to get a replacement they would cut out unless I tied a knot at the Y where the cords came thru the metal sleeve. I still have them, but they don't get much use anymore.

If they changed the cord construction and can be had for $80 bucks they would probably be a mid range pair of ear buds.
