Is it possible to get the weather widget to do this?

I have my GPS off but the weather widget is giving me close enough weather via the network. I'd like to keep track of the weather in another location.

When I click on the "+" sign in the weather widget and then type in the location the city is not found. I've tried typing it in exactly how it appears when I'm there w/o luck. Is there another way to save/ find this city and keep track f the weather in the widget?

Thanks

mine just shows "New York". I wish I could get more specific.

But when I tap the weather widget and swipe up, it changes to my town.

Going back home just reverts back to NY

You have it set to show the weather in your current location, which could slightly vary depending on where it is getting your location information at that moment. If you want to default to your hometown, do this:

Remove the widget, then add it again (it is the 3rd option under the "clock" widget). When it says "Select a city", select your hometown instead of "current location". The widget will show the weather in your hometown and tapping the widget + swipe up will show your current location.
