I'm new to this and was wondering if anyone could PLEASE walk me through how to get new themes on a non rooted phone. What is ROM & Vanilla? Also, I want to know how to get new clocks, icons without the text under them, new lock screen all while still using my 7 screens on sense.

and mad props to the people who know how to do all this hah i can not figure it outt.
+Thank you in advance.

Those clocks are a customizable widget called "Beautiful Widgets" its a paid app but well worth it. If you want no icon labels you would have to download a home replacement from the market, either "ADW Launcher" or "LauncherPro Beta" both are good but I use LauncherPro Beta. For lockscreen replacement you could try LockBot Pro (also paid). The easiest way to get all this though is to root. Are you rootable? As in did you get the 2.1 OTA? If so the process is very easy and I can direct you through all of it

Thank you, I just found folder organizer which works great for custom icons.
Yes, I did get the ota 2.1 so I can't root :(
Is there any free and nonroot way to get customizable clocks?

I tried to find free clock apps and generally they are battery hogs, it's well worth the time and money to buy Beautiful Widgets.

BTW, you can root if you have OTA 2.1, not if you have leak 2.1. Check your HBOOT by turning your phone off and then holding Volume Down and the power button at the same time. If it has 1.47 or 1.46 then you can root, if it is 1.49 then you're out of luck.

"Vanilla" is the stock Android feel. (Ex. white notification bar, stock Google apps). Since this is an HTC Sense phone, it has HTC's apps and own customizations rather than Google's stock apps and themes.

For the vanilla keyboard or the black keyboard you posted, try Smart Keyboard. It's a great keyboard and has a few good themes.

For free? it won't be as nice (it'll be extremely simple)
For money? no doubt you can find one

true...any idea on how to make my own?
I figured out how to make icons etc, so i can't be too hard, right?

Oh I see. Thank you. I ended up downloading the droid x keyboard & swype :)

I also downloaded launcherpro..i <3 this thing BUT the phone icon is really small. Anyone know if I can make my own icon and make it bigger? like take up the space of 2 regular icons?

Instead of using a phone icon at all, just press the physical phone button (the left hand button next to the trackball). That button is easy to find/hit and is always available to you.
