Talked to an app developer who is going to make pinch zoom in browser for droid

He created a pinch zoom hack for the G1. He said because multitouch was included in 2.0 he could do it without the Droid being rooted. He said he would need the 2.0 source code to be available before he could start.

Here is his G1 hack. Not perfect, but the G1 doesn't even have multi touch

Not sure if we are talking about the same person, but, Loccy has already told me he will update his Better Browser for 2.0 and the DROID as soon as 2.0 is released to the source tree. The great thing about Better Browser is that it is the stocl browser but highly optimized and modified with tons of extra settings along with pinch to zoom.
